This camp will work on all aspects of pitching in order to develop your son into a “Complete Pitcher”. A “Complete Pitcher” must master not only proper mechanics, but also mental toughness, so that they can perform in pressure situations. Proper mechanics, holding runners, fielding bunts, covering bases and the importance of an off speed pitch will be covered. Live pitching will prepare pitchers for their upcoming season. Erin Dwyer, DTA’s Baseball Director and Pitching Instructor will be the camp instructor. Coach Dwyer is formerly The Daily Herald Player of The Year in 1989 after posting a 9-0 record in the DVC. 18 years of experience has inspired Coach Dwyer to develop a program to help pitchers learn all aspects of their pitching abilities and build a foundation for success. Pitchers are asked to provide/bring a catcher for the camp. 3 hours (six 30 minute sessions) of bullpen time will be given to each pitcher to use for individual practice time ($90 value)
