Looking for an exciting new indoor baseball game?
RIP-IT 4 on 4 baseball is a hitting league with defensive
play included and is NEW at DTA.
RIP-IT is played on our 88' x 80' indoor turfed field. Defensive players play the infield positions while the offensive team hits off of a pitching machine.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Teams of 4 players compete against another team based on a point system for hitting. Each team takes turns hitting while the
other team plays defense. DTA Staff will keep score for the game. Each team will have 4 players play in the game, (rosters can have 5 players). Game play is 6 innings or 1 hour and 15 minutes. This tournament will be a 3 game guarantee with the
highest point total the champion.
Cost is $50 per player if registering with a 4 man team. $40 if roster 5 players.
Team registration only. $200 per team. Includes 3 games and 30 minutes of batting cage time prior to each game. ONLY 4 TEAMS per AGE GROUP.
Ages: 8/9U, 10/11U, 12/13U.

Dec. 31st: Games at 10, 11:15, 12:30, 1:45, 3:00 and 4:15

Jan. 2nd Games at 9:00 am – 8:15 pm
Jan. 3rd Games at 6:30 and 7:45
Also available is a Thanksgiving Tournament that will be played on Friday – Sunday Nov. 27th – 29th |
Baseball Hitting League With Instruction |

Bobby Stevens, former NIU Huskie and current minor league player with the Baltimore Orioles will conduct this indoor hitting league that will include instruction. Each week will be a different focus area for players to work on while hitting and points will be awarded for successful hits. Players will hit off of Iron Mike pitching machines.
Areas of focus include:
1. Bunting 2. Pull hitting 3. Opposite field hitting 4. Hitting up the middle (man on 3rd < 2 outs) 5. Hitting to the right side (man on 2nd 0 outs)
The first five swings will emphasize the focus area of the week and the last 5 swings will be typical point system for hitting leagues.
Bobby will take the first 15 minutes of each class and instructor on each area’s point of emphasis and will work with hitters during the hitting league session.
Days: Mondays
Dates: Starts Jan 11 – Feb 22nd (7 weeks)
5 games per team.
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 or 7:30 – 9:00
Cost: $195 per team (3 players per team/$65 per player)

Now in it’s eighth year, DuPage Training Academy’s Fall Baseball League continues to expand and provide a quality structured environment for baseball to continue into the fall months. Over 700 players from surrounding communities participated in the league last year. The 2009 season will include 1.) Team option (form your own team) 2.) DTA Developmental teams where your son will play for a team with a DTA coach and will include preseason and in-season practices and open batting cage time. Cost $350 per player. 3.) Individual registration for players to be placed on teams in need of players or a DTA team coached by volunteer coaches. Cost $125 per player.
Great weather, great umpires and quality competition are the foundation of this program. We know as a coach you want the best environment possible for your team or son and we will work to meet those needs.
DTA will offer the best fall baseball in the area for players ages 8 - 16. Each league will be separated by travel level teams and in house teams. You do not need to have a team in order to register. Game play will begin on September 13th, the Sunday after Labor Day and will continue into October. Games will be played mainly on Sundays and possibly Saturdays if we have rainouts.
Fees:
Full Team: $1,300
Each team will receive 4 hours of batting cage time and 1 hour of infield time ($300 value) (New added bonus!)
Individual: $125 (coached by a volunteer coach, 1 weekly practice)
Individual: $350 for DTA developmental team. Teams at all ages.

LEAGUE DETAILS
Separate divisions will be offered for ages 8 - 16. Age will be the player’s current age.
Teams must provide their own uniforms. We will uniform any teams that are formed from individual registration.
Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 10 games; 8 regular season games and a single elimination tournament.

New for 2009: “Fall Developmental League” for high school baseball players
DuPage Training Academy will provide high school players with an opportunity to continue their baseball development in the fall with both professional instruction and game play. Our staff of former professional and college players will work with each participant in weekday practice sessions and then they can apply those fundamentals in weekend game play.
Developmental League details:
-One JV division offered for players in grades 9 & 10.
-Teams will have 12/13 players. 10 games total for each team. Six 2 hour practice sessions.
-Practice sessions will be one day a week from 5:30 – 7:30. Practices begin in Sept. Games begin on Sept. 13th.
-Players will have unlimited use of Dupage Training Academy for the 6 weeks.
-Players will play two games a weekend, on mainly on Sundays.
-Games will be umpired by 1 IHSA patched umpire.
-Quality playing fields in the Western Suburbs for game play.

DTA FALL BASEBALL DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS |

DuPage Training Academy will form Academy teams to play in our fall baseball league, which begins in early September. This program is focused on training and improving each player’s game performances. Each team will be organized with a balance of pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders. Weekly practices will be conducted by a DTA instructor/coach and every game
will be coached by a DTA coach. Volunteers will be asked to help with some tasks. Game play instruction will help players develop and improve their playing performance. The DTA Fall Baseball League continues to expand and provide a quality, structured environment for baseball to continue throughout the fall months. Over 600 players from surrounding communities participated in the league last year.
Tryouts:
Thursday, August 7th 7:00 - 9:00 pm @ DTA
Saturday, August 9th 9:00 - 11:00 am @DTA
Monday, August 11th 7:00 - 8:30 pm * if needed
