DuPage Training Academy will form developmental teams to play in our fall softball league, which begins in early September. This program is focused on training and improving each player in all areas of the game. Each team will be organized with a balance of pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders. Weekly practices and games will be conducted by a DTA instructor/coaches. Volunteers will be asked to help with some tasks. Game play instruction will help with each player’s development and we will strive to improve their playing performance. The DTA Fall Softball league is new in 2009 as we continue to expand our offerings for a structured environment for softball to continue throughout the fall months. Over 800 players from surrounding communities participated in our baseball league last year and now we will offer the same to local softball players.
